You may be wondering why Carlyn Bushman Consulting curated a gift guide of small, women-owned businesses? So, I wanted to share a bit more on the WHY.
As you know, I have always been a huge supporter of female owned and operated businesses.
There is so much noise out there as it relates to supporting each other, advocating for growth, and embracing collaboration over competition.
As we discussed our theme of collaboration, my team and I got to thinking: How can we be of service to not just one female-owned business but a large group after such a difficult year? How can we cultivate collaboration between businesses allowing for further connection? How can we work to give women-owned businesses a leg-up after an incredibly trying year that pushed many small businesses to their limits (and beyond)? How can we accomplish all of these things while making it accessible for any business to have the opportunity for greater exposure?
Thus, The Fall Gift Guide was born.
