Carlyn Bushman, Founder

Where did you grow up?

I was raised in rural Wisconsin.

Tell us a little bit about you!

I am a mom, wife, lifelong learner, former corporate executive, and small business owner. I understand the complexities of starting and operating a business. I have climbed the corporate ladder and created and run several small businesses from the ground up. Through this, I have fine-tuned skills in the areas of marketing, management, technology, and business financials. I am now sharing my vast knowledge base to accelerate small to medium-sized women-owned businesses to create reliable, sustainable revenue streams.

Where did you grow up?

I was born and raised in Phoenix Arizona.

Tell us a little bit about you!

I studied business management and received my bachelor’s degree at Grand Canyon University. I am the oldest sister of 7 amazing siblings, and love being a role model to all of them. I recently got married in February 2022 and we are expecting our first child in June 2023!

Mekayla O’Grady, Social Media Management and Marketing

Where did you grow up?

I was born in Ottawa, ON, CAN but grew up in Kemptville, ON.

Tell us a little bit about you!

I actually have a health sciences background as I am a Kinesiologist and Fascial Stretch Therapist but my love for all things organization needed to be satisfied so I started a virtual assistant business. I am getting married in August 2023 in Thunder Bay, ON.

Where did you grow up?

I was born and raised in Glendale Arizona.

Tell us a little bit about you!

I have always had a great interest in business, and my passion for it has taken me to where I am today. After graduating high school in 2022, I went on to get my real estate license from the Arizona School of Real Estate and Business. As well as being a licensed realtor in the beautiful state of Arizona, I am also an agency assistant at Ford/Robert Black Agency. With my experience in both business and fashion, I am hopeful to make strides at CBC, foster growth and success for small businesses, and learn from industry trailblazers along the way.
